Hisparadise Therapy Community Outreach Program

Many of the people who could benefit most from therapy and counselling never walk into a clinic — not because they don't need support, but because they don't know it's accessible, affordable, or free of judgment. This outreach programme exists to close that gap by meeting people where they already are, rather than waiting for them to find Hisparadise Therapy on their own.

The programme runs a series of community-based sessions in neighbourhoods across Lagos, pairing short, accessible talks on mental health and relationship wellbeing with practical information on how to book a session, what to expect, and what it costs. Sessions are deliberately kept informal and conversational rather than clinical, since the goal at this stage is awareness and trust-building, not diagnosis.

The programme is ongoing, with sessions scheduled on a rolling basis across different communities. Feedback from each session is used to refine the format — what topics resonate, what questions come up most often, and what barriers still stop people from reaching out — so that later sessions are more effective than the ones before them.
