The Johnnywriter Journal: What Starting Again Taught Me
There is a particular kind of learning that only happens when you have to start something again — not simply continue what you already had, but genuinely begin from a new starting point. This entry is about what that experience has taught me.
Starting Again Forces You to Separate What Mattered From What Was Just Familiar
When you have to rebuild something, you are forced to decide what is actually essential and what you were simply used to. That distinction is easy to blur when things are going smoothly, and starting again is one of the few experiences that makes it impossible to ignore.
