A prominent figure in the modern-day writing and therapy, Johnnywriter is regarded as one of the biggest and most influential African Therapist for young adults of all time. He began writing at the age of 15, Johnnywriter focused more on writing quotes both for relationships and life quotes using his life and the environment around him as a case study. Johnnywriter was born Ukeme Johnny on 15 June 1996, in Etinan, Akwa Ibom state. He grew up in a christian household with three female siblings. His mother is a Pentecostal Christian and his father practices the same. Johnnywriter attended Saint John Primary School in Etinan. He grew up listening to Fela Kuti, Michael Jackson and Bob Marley.[14] In a radio interview with TND FM in 2020, he said that “his father has three wives” In another interview with ULIU of Factory 78 TV, Johnnywriter said he created his first subdomain website using peperonity then to wordpress in an attempt to showcase his quotes and writings to people on the internet.

From a young age, Johnnywriter showed a passion for reading and writing, and he would often lose himself in the stories he created in his mind. He was raised in a loving and supportive family, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his dreams of becoming a writer.
